The Graduating class of 1970 demonstrated their PRIDE throughout the year by participating in many activities. Al- though the Senior class was a small one they carried on with a mighty force. Their class yell told the story of the Seniors they were ’’full of pep and on the go. ” The Seniors were the first class to take their Senior Sneak in the winter. They went skiing and sledding at Snoqualimie. Other activites were decorating the Christmas Tree, teach- ing classes for Student Government Day, putting on the Senior Play and helping with the Junior-Senior Ball. Ken McGillivray served as A.S. B. president. Leadership was further shown by the Seniors playing leading roles in Let- termen's Club, Girls' Club, Drill Team, Pep Club, Honor So- ciety, Tiger Rag, Ski Club and other activities. Karen Smith was president of the class, John Huffman Vice- president and Kathy Cole Secretary. Greg Stehr and Sharlena Lee served as A.S. B. representatives. With all the activities the year moved quickly and soon came Graduation. But the class of 70 will always remember the fun time they spent at Granite Falls High School.
