The Associated Student Body sponsored many activities which brought out the spirit of the entire school. Among these activities was the A.S.B. Car- nival, in which a number of clubs and classes parti- cipated. Proceeds from each booth went to the organization that sponsored the booth. A slave Day was held in March. At this time, students left their classes to do odd jobs for the townspeople. On another day, many of the students were dis- missed from seventh period to take part in a parade. The purpose of the parade was to remind the citizens to vote for the bond levy on the following day. The A.S.B. inspired the entire student body with the Christmas spirit. The classes’ donations to the Christmas Basket Drive were so generous that we were able to give out ten baskets. At the Christ- mas assembly, a contest was held to see which class could present the best Santa Claus. The faculty also entered the contest and they won. In the spring, the A.S.B. sponsored the W.S.U. „ Drama Department in a Shakesperian production. Under the supervision of Mr. Raab, the student council organized these activities with the co- operation of the executive board. The students urging the citizens to vote. A.S.B. There were Santas everywhere at the Christmas assembly. The A.S.B. advisor, Mr. Raab, hands over some orders.
