McGillivray, Ken Medrano, Arthur Newman, Lynn Phillips, Nancy Pullen, Robert Roche, Sheila Running, Duane Smith, Gary The Granite Tiger was kept busy in trying to keep up with the spirited Sopho- mores this year. Their first project was to sell rooter hats, and they followed this with a sale of Christmas candles. The Trusty Tiger spied them at car washes, soc hops, pep skits, carnival booths, concession stands, and everywhere the school spirit could be carried. Tim Tupper was Class President for the first half of the year. Steve Stormo, Vice President; stepped up in Smith, Karen Stehr, Greg Stormo, Steve Sir id, Debbie Thompson, Nancy Thorne, Douglas Tupper, Tim Virta, Jack office when Tim moved to Lake Stevens. Greg Stehr was then elected to fill the year out as Vice President. Karen Smith served as Secre- tary-Treasurer for the year, and Mr. Fallis was class advisor. Ken McGillivray and Shar- lena Lee represented the Sophomores in Student Coun- cil. Sharlena Lee was the Sophomore cheerleader, and Nancy Lundberg reigned at the Homecoming Dance as Sophomore Princess Class Officers
