Superintendent's Message The senior class has inspired many accomplishments in student action during the year. They have provided leadership and shown responsibility in their accomplishments. Since school is a train- ing ground in both the academic and activity areas of life, this years seniors can look forward to a great deal of success as they go into the communities of our state and nation. The search for more education should be your uppermost con- cern for the next few years. Further education through college or trade school will prepare you to meet the economic, social and political problems that will confront you and our nation in the future. Education will turn what appears to be a harsh and impersonal world into a world in which you can arise to heights of success you didn't think possible. Success in America is filled with hard work backed up with knowledge. The opportunities are greater than Principal’s Message Eons ago powerfully, huge dinosaurs roamed the earth unchal- lenged for centuries. They were the masters of a world in which survival depended upon brute force. But almost imperceptibly, the world began to change although the dinosaurs remained the same. They did not recognize the fact that as the world evolved, survival depended more upon knowledge than upon strength. Final ly, unable to cope with their environment, the monsters vanished from the earth. Let each of us look to this lesson from history as the decades pass us by. Let us continue to pursue knowledge so that we may not become extinct in our own civilizations. Congratulations to all the seniors upon their graduation from Granite Falls High School. Secretary Mrs. Motter has done more than her share this year, and we wish to thank her for her many services. inistration
