rJlast WJlii and Testament REMEMBER WHEN--We, the Class of ' 51. felt that in our Senior year we were finally leaving Dear Ol ' Granite Falls High School for good. Well, we felt that the school had given us so much that we should leave s ome thing in return. So we got togethe r before we left that year and drew up our LAST WILL, AND TESTAMENT. Here it is, printed below exactly as we made it in the year of one thousand nine hundred and fifty-one. We, the Senior Class of Granite Falls High School, Granite Falls, North Carolina, being full of school ' spirit and memories in this year, one thousand nine hundred and fifty one do hereby make this our LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT. ARTICLE 1: We, the Seniors, leave our sincere appreciation for their kind interest and help, to the faculty and principal, ARTICLE Z: We, the Seniors, bequeath our Senior rights and privileges to the Juniors. ARTICLE 3: We, the Seniors, now bestow our individual in- valuable properties to the specified Juniors I, Betty Annas, will my smiles to Delma Marshall, I, Pauline Annas, will my ability to gripe to Dennis Kincaid. I, Paul Bolick, will part of the wave in my hair to Wayne Moore . I, Bob Brady, will all of my good times at Granite Hi to all those Junior boys who like to have fun. I, Gwynn Bumgarner will the honor of carrying the Name of Bumgarner through High School to J, P. Bumgarner. I, Rachel Bumgarner, will all my corny jokes that I tell to Betty Jo Norris. (Hope she has better luck than I did with them) 1, Bebecca Church, leave my place in French Class to Su- sanne League. I, Ann Cline, will my love of music to all those talented Junior Girls . I, Carroll Cline, will my income to any Junior who is willing to live on such a small amount. 1, Hilda Coffey, will my position as May Queen to Vonda Carte r. 1, Vera Coffey, leave my place on the Beta Club to Sylvia Kirby. (Here ' s hoping, Sylvia) I, Nancy Connell, will my ability to sing to Charles HoUoway. I, Willa Dean Curtis, will the Canteen to all those Junior girls who get so hungry. I, Jeanette Davis, will my false eye -lashes to Pauline ShuU because they work wonders in getting a man. I, Hal Dula, will my efforts to get into the Beta Club to Wayne Hall and James Reid who are desperate. I, Charles Ellis , will my way with women to Bobby Weaver and Carroll Barker. I, BennieEstes, will my love for shorthand to Jeanette Turne r. I, LaVerralFox, will my happy mar riage to anyof those Jun- ior girls who have hope to be married soon. I, Iris Ann Gilbert, will my English book to someone who has more ability in English than I do. I, Jeanette Goble, will my good-looking boy friends to any deserving Junior girl.
