supeRintenPent of schools mp. b.j. Oc vis One of the great pleasures in my life has been the part I played in creating what is now Granite City High School North. To see a building develop from an idea to reality is a fantastic experience. To see a faculty and student body take that building and develop a school is even more of a thrill. To me, a school is much more than bricks and mortar. It’s a place for learning, a spirit, a commonalty of purpose, and a desire to enrich the lives of others. Granite City High School North’s faculty and students can take pride in the accomplishments they have attained and in the warm esprit de corps developed which is a legacy for future generations. assistant supeRintenOent mp. fpank kPAus Mr. Kraus, a native of Granite City, graduated from High School South in 1948.
