1984 MAY CAROUSEL A NIGHT IN HEAVEN Giving o special recognition to the senior girls ot the end of the school year is known os May Carousel. This night is the night that senior girls wait for oil of their High School years It is o rime of much happiness but also sadness because the girls realize graduation isn ' t for off, ond they will lose contact with many of their friends. May 11, 1964, Louri Mochino, retiring Homecoming Queen of 1963, crowned Karen Fuller, Moy Carousel Queen. Attending to the queen were, Michele Dezon, Jeonie Holt, Louro James. Lisa Lilley. Nancy McClew, Gloria Milionis. Liso Sheikh, Vicki Smith, Lauro Smolor, ond Elizabeth Trimmer. Among the many activities that took place, the Flogs ond Rifles performed to Footloose . The Swing Choir performed o melody from CATS. Pom-Pons also performed to o musical melody. The Senior donee ond troditionol Moy Pole donee, also rook place The theme was A Night In Heaven , ond the girls performed o candlelight ceremony. The student body owes o very special thanks to the staff members that helped to organize the committee for Moy Carousel. Mr. Steve Hamilton ond Mr. Ron Pennell were Co-Chairmen. Mrs. Sondro Hughes, Mrs. Beverly Scroggins, ond Mrs. DeeMono Spudich were also on the committee. A job well done!! 6
