I After forty-one years of teaching, Miss Hazel Towery asserts, “It is great to teach sub- jects that you know will help your pupils make a living, and it is just plain fun to teach skills. It was in 1934 and it still is in 1974.” Interest is still high in learning basic skills such as typing, bookkeeping, and shorthand.
