Mr. Lawrence Me Cauley, Principal Mr. McCauley was born in Granite City, and attended school in Granite City. During his years at G.C.H.S. he belonged to the literary society, was president of his class, and was an outstanding athlete, lettering in baseball, basketball, football, and track. After his graduation he became an employee of Granite City Steel Company. Mr. McCauley received his Bachelor ' s degree in Journalism from the University of Missouri. He re- ceived his Master ' s degree in Ad- ministration and Guidance from Washington University.
