Dedication Mary Scott It is with great pride that The Lions' Paw of 1972-'73 is dedicated to you, Mrs, Scott. Mrs. Scott teaches high school English and Spanish and is a Junior sponsor, She teaches with excitement and wants her students to feel the same way about their work and studies. She is always there to help whenever and wherever she is needed. We will miss her next year because she has been a part of making our school what it is today. Our best wishes are with you, Mrs, Scott, and thanks for everything you did for our school, Mrs. Scott also enjoys making her husband happy Mrs, Scott always teaches with a smile and that just as she does her students, alone makes her students want to learn, fstlsww if S T S 5

The parking lot gradually fills up, but there is always that one car coming in after the bells have rung, There is also talk of interesting weekends, especially on Monday mornings, Morning is always the quietest time of the day. There's always that one person who falls asleep on the bus going to school and has to be tapped on the shoulder to make sure he doesn't stay on the bus all day, Although there are sleepy eyes, there are also some happy smiles to brighten up the day. One of the most exciting mornings was Hippie Day. You could see the small circles of students sitting around in circles before school. Everybody spent their time wondering who was who and wondering where the dress code went, TOP LEFT: Who could help but , notice Alice Pedroza and the car- load of people she brought to school every morning. MIDDLE RIGHT: There was still the smoke from our great big bon- fire the next morning, It shows Lion Spirit Never Dies! FAR LEFT: Pat Vrana is wondering Who is that? on Hippie Day. LEFT: Mr. Goodman thrilled with his first day of driving a bus.
