M. N all s, superintendent of G r ange r High School, was born and r e ar e d on a farm near Kaufman, Texas. He is a g r aduate of Kaufman High School and received his B.B.A. and M,B,A, degrees from the Un- iversity of Texas. In 1947 Mr. Nalls came to Granger as Commercial teacher and high school princ ipal. After two years he became assistant superintendent of schools in Williamson County for one year. The following two years he was superintendent of s c hools at Liberty Hill. In 1952, he accepted the superintendency of Granger Public Schools. The Granger c om munity is well pleased with the pro- gress made under the supervision of Mr. Nalls. His familyincludes his wife and two daughters, Shirley and Diane For a hobby Mr Nalls enjoys an occasional squirrel hunt 1' FAMILY PORTRAIT Spending an evening at home with his family is Mr C M Nalls Pictured are Diane age 9 Mr Nalls, Mrs Nalls and Shirley age 12 TRATION Mr. L, E. Parmer, principal of Granger High School, was born and reared on a ranch near Miles, Texas. After graduating from Miles High School he entered the University of Texas where he received both his B.A. and M.A, degreesw After leaving the University Mr. Parmer entered the teaching profession. His teaching experience includes several successful year s in Paint Rock and other West Texas towns and in San Benito. Granger students appre- ciate Mr. Parmer's leadership and guidance. Mr. Parmer's s pe cial interests in high school are his extra-curricular activities. He particularly enjoys the coaching of Drama and Debate. Mr . He participates in various activities and is a m emb e r of the Annual Staff, F.F.A., Student Council, and Office Staff. One of his special interests in high school is the Cho- ral Club. Jodie was chosen Prime Minister for the Coronation, and he was elected the boy rep- sentative to attend Frontier Day at S.W.T.S.T.C. in San Ma rc os, Texas. In addition to her speech activities, she has participated in many other ex- tra-curricular activities. She has served on the Office Staff and as editor of the Annu al. In the senior play she took a leading role, and she was the senior selection for Princess at the Coronation. Another outstanding honor that came to Ther- eia was her election by popular vote of the senior class to attend Frontier Day at S. W. T.S. T.C. in San Marcos.
