Do We all need to be awakened to the fact that we as a people are progressing at a more rapid rate than any other civilization since the beginning of time? The evidence is all around us g . . . and inside us. The future may be called a tune to which the present has written the lyrics. Because We make the changes, they donft just happen. Thank you for the changes which you have helped to make in the past year. '

It's exciting to see all the newness in Grandview. It seems that just a few years ago the city was a small spot of pavement surrounded by open fields. Now the fields have been filled with houses and busi- nesses. The small spot of pavement has grown, and so has Grandview High School, but much more than physical change has been experienced here this passing year. There was a change in awareness, a change of the maimconcerns of education, and a change ,iii the students. We all became closer together in the realiaation of the relationship we all share as students of Grandview High as brothers and sis- ters on the earth.
