Our Grandview citizens are indeed fortunate in having a board of educa- tion Whose members are keenly inter- ested in providing good schools for the boys and girls of our community. Even though the members of our board are busy, they give much of their time and study to leadership and service in the development of the type of an educa- tional program which will best serve our community and its young people. Many problems confront our board in its effort to give our community ex- cellent schools. Probably one of the most difficult problems before our local board at the present time, and, too, probably the most baffling in solution, is how to secure sufficient money to in- crease the salaries of our teachers. The members of our board Well realize that outstanding schools depend upon the paying of salaries Which Will retain and attract superior teachers. Page Semen
