Marc! offiyofwcafion Dr. Tom F. Lewisg Miss Rvhoda Sams, clerkg Mr. W. A. Welcker, Jr., presidentg Mr. Roibert C. Williamsg Dr. Richard M. Titusg Mrs. Christine Y. Conaway, vice presi- dentg Mr. W. C. Rohleder, superintendent. Our Grandview citizens are indeed fortunate in having a board of educa- tion Whose members are keenly inter- ested in providing good schools for the boys and girls of our community. Even though the members of our board are busy, they give much of their time and study to leadership and service in the development of the type of an educa- tional program which will best serve our community and its young people. Many problems confront our board in its effort to give our community ex- cellent schools. Probably one of the most difficult problems before our local board at the present time, and, too, probably the most baffling in solution, is how to secure sufficient money to in- crease the salaries of our teachers. The members of our board Well realize that outstanding schools depend upon the paying of salaries Which Will retain and attract superior teachers. Page Semen

Mr. Blauser has faithfully served Grandview schools for twenty-one years, first as a science teacher and business manager of athletics, and then as high school principal. In April, he left to accept a position as general manager of a local business concern. During the eight years that he was principal of this school, he worked hard to perfect a well co- ordinated program for students and teachers. His influence and work will ever be engraved in the minds of Grandview students. Mr. Beery, former mathematics instructor and business manager of athletics, who has taught in Grand- view schools for thirteen years, is our new principal. Our school extends best wishes to Mr. Blauser and Mr. Beery. Q- .spwperinfencfenf W C IQOALJW Ohio State University, B. A., M. A. University of Aberdeen, Scotland As superintendent of Grandview schools, Mr. Rohleder has had a lot to do with making G. H. S. the effi- cient organization it is. In every possible way he works to adapt the school program to meet the needs of the community. As a representa- tive of the Board of Education he is the connecting link between the cit- izens of Grandview and the public school system. His friendly nature and faculty for performing his du- ties well have made him outstand- ing.
