UI Ing o Be Ready For '53 Term Grandfalls-Royalty Grade School children will begin their work in a new school building next year. J. E. Coles. Supt of schools announced. Work was begun on the new Elementary building. November 15. and is expected to be com- pleted in Jrly It is to be buili adjacent to the High School Auditorium and will be one of the most modern in West Texas Mr. Coles said. This one story building will be of the same architectural design and some color brick as the high school buildings. Contracts have been signed with Balfanz Construction ot Abilene. Texas for 31878002 Lucian Webb, heating and plumbing of Abilene, Texas for 535.9151 and with Crane Electric Service of Crane Texas for S8,575. Don W. Smith of Sweet- water, Texas is the architect. There will be 12 regular class rooms for the first through the sixth grades. The first three grades will each have separate and individual rest rooms ad- joining each room. There will also be one boys' and one girls' rest room for the use of the fourth through the sixth grades. The new building will have a visual aid room and library, a an art studio. All these rooms will be painted in two-tone pas- tel colors. A cafeteria will be built adjoining the building. All new furniture will be used throughout the building.
