A women's dormitory to house approximately 120 women to be located just north of the men's dormitory, is planned for completion in 1968. College Employs Pastor I2 The installation of the Reverend Clyde L.Norrgard as a full-time campus pastor was made at Convocation on September 22, 1966. With his donut dunking sessions he endeavored to relate faith and learning in the academic community, to provide pastoral counseling for all students, and to create opportunities for group discussions and voluntary service projects. Reverend Mr. Norrgard came to Grand View from churches in Des Moines and Cedar Rapids. Reverend Mr. Norrgard is an important linkbetween Gra.nd View College and the pastors and churches of the community. He invites students to come to his office any time. He will be glad to talk to you.
