A yearbook tells the story of its school. It is supposed to represent the people of the institution, the buildings, and all the abstract things that go to completing the school such as spirit, tradition, and customs. It must be remembered by the reader that the following pages are simply a representation of the aforementioned aspects. During the production of this yearbook we, the staff, have had to use our own judgment accordingto time and alloted space as to what should or should not be included. We undoubtedly have broken some cherished traditions and included some things felt unnecessa.ry by many people. However, the book must stand as it is. It is the story of Grand View College for 1965-66, and it is a book of memories for many years to come. The Viking staff for 1965-66 presents the yearbook we produced. Its worth lies, in the people who read it, those close to the college and who are concerned with its life. G.V.C.
