Lack of competition before the district game proved to be a dis- advantage to both the varsity and junior-varsity teams, however, the junior-varsity team overcame the disadvantage more easily than the varsity. Junior-varsity team members lacked experience, but made up for it in attitude, cooperation, and determination, which helped them to place second in the Rains Tournament. ' Although the varsity team had the talent and experience that the junior-varsity lacked, they were too individualistic and lacked team spirit, causing them to end the season with an O-4 record. Kerri Willingham made first team All-District. JV team members are Gwen Damico fmanagerj, Donna Chitty, Janice Luns- ford, Debbie Morgan, Candy Clower, Car- olyn Anglin.
