62 Sports Indian sports played an important role in our world with everyone supporting the Indians in some way or another. This year proved to be a winning one for Indian sports. The football season finished with two of four teams with winning records. Two out of five basketball teams wound up the run- ners-up to district. All track- sters finished in the upper half and the freshmen were the district champs. Boys tennis team won first in their district, and the girls finished second. Indian baseballers were the district champs, and in the overall UIL competition, the Indians were the first place winners. It was a year to be proud of. I.Uithin our E 3 gf' 090 'K
