Important social events in the nized cheerleaders, majorettes, spring were the All-Sports Ban- quet and the Junior-Senior Ban- quet. Theme of the All-Sports Ban- quet, Indians on Parade, was car- ried out in Walt Disney characters on wall and head-table decora- tions. Speaker, Scott Laidlaw, made a short speech and answered questionsfromthe audience. Coaches of the various sports introduced their teams, and Mr. Gerald Gilbert, principal, recog- Q sd 26 Junior-Senior Banquet and the band. William Vess received a gift from varsity cheerleaders for his greatjob as mascot. Varsity football players hon- ored Coach Elliott with a gift in recognition of his influence and leadership. Precious Reflections was the theme of the Junior-Senior Ban- quet in the school cafeteria May 12. Reading the senior Will and Testament were Jo Haptonstall and Charles Beasley. Libby King and Adam Richey read the Proph ecy. Junior president, Kerri Will ingham, gave the welcome, anc William Vess, senior president gave the response. The prom, sponsored by par- ents, was held at the Red Barn ir Tyler. All decked out, Charles Beasley and Kerr Willingham pose for a formal picture before the Junior'Senior Banquet.
