He first got involved in taxi- dermy about a year ago by enroll- ing in a through-the-mail taxi- dermy school. In less than two months he was mounting various kinds of birds and small game. James mounted a mule-deer head from Colorado which sold for S65 and a bobcat which sold forS3O. A racooon and several squirrels are some of the small animals he has mounted. Taxidermy is an unusual hobby for teen- agers, but James Rodgers has found it to be an interesting one.
