Motorcycles Provide Free Wheeling Fun Motorcycles made the scene for GSHS students this year. Free-wheeling fun attracted quite a few students to the two-vvheel- ers. Motorcycles can be ridden in rain, in the dirt, and even through the ice and snow. Riding up and down hills is fast, exciting, and fun. The wind in the face makes the ride even more enjoyable. Because motorcycles are eas- ily maneuvered in and out of small places, they can get to and from school or wherever they are going quickly and easily Motorcycles became a source of 'fun in the sun' for many, Popping wheelies is just one of the ways Barry Harbison, sophomore, enjoys his motorcycle, a Kawasaki 100. Tracy Ray, Trudy Stan- berry, Jimmy Johnson, Kenneth Fletcher, Gay Lynn Adams, Pam McCord, and Mike McFarlin. W , .N i A new soccer program involv- ing kids ranging in age from five to sixteen, caught the interest of several students. A few went out for the teams and others to coach. Lindsey Ray had always loved the game of soccer, and when he heard of the new sports program, he volunteered to be a coach, His team, the Jocks, competed against other GS teams such as the Junk Yard Dogs and the We riors. They placed third for tl season. Lindsey had a full schedu with practices every weekd afternoon from 4 to 6 o'clock.
