'icking out invitations, deciding ow many to order, and measur- ig for caps and gowns early in we year made them feel like seniors at last, but receiving feir orders in May made them tink of themselves as almost ex-seniors. Included with the arrival of invi- tations were memory books which set the happy group of stu- dents on a walk down memory lane. The memory book included pages for autographs, cards, school and sports information, and thoughts. The books sparked off a flurry of autograph signing, card exchanging, etc. that gave seniors a great feeling but almost ran teachers crazy. ln memory of the class of '79, seniors donated to the school the lndian mascot suit worn by Wil- liam Vess for five years. f -rss if Sb gt .2 It , -QQ. For many it was their first time to visit the park, and for others the trip was almost as ordinary asasunny week- end. Whatever the case, the report was that the day was a blast. lt started with handing out tickets and splitting up in groups. As the day wore on, there were several remarks that could be heard. Many of the seniors checked out the new attractions. Some decided it was a fantastic place. Laura Dickerson was so excited about it that when asked how she enjoyed her day, all she could say was, Oh!
