Looking Ahecld The future became a major concern for seniors as they realized the end of high school was com- ing close. Many took SAT and ACT tests and tried to decide which college to attend. Visiting college campuses and talking over requirements with counselor, Miss Esther Hopkins, helped them make their decisions. Some were recruited for the armed forces, and others started thinking about and looking for jobs, Seniors attended the annual Career Day at Tyler Junior College. Each student chose two workshops to participate in that concerned the career he or she had cho- sen. A barbeque lunch was provided, and a gym- nastics, singing, and band show rounded out the day.
