YEARBOOK®MESSAGE 1982 le and Music in that we have seeks to celebrate, especial- seniaccomplished, reminding This year has been a special occasion for been celebrating our thirty-fifth anniversar ly in Christian matters, the tendency hag ourselves of the faithfulness of God. a As we have looked back, God has brome iS ally spea ous is of steps from being a guest school in the facilities of Calvary Church, to purcha ng f te, seonard Street property, then moving on to the Crescent Street location, and finally acquiring our splendid campUStomeRranklin Street. In addition, He has supplied us with the facilities of an 1d planes and equipme 'fmgeded to train missionary avia- tion students. ce In reviewing people, 2,131 students thy work for a semester or more and are now sé are ministering for God all over the world re The things we have just said may not be} to the students who are presently enrolled. This is” their generation, their time to be trained and to hat they will do with their lives. But a review of history is always helpful to any generation. Our seniors of this year will be plunged directly into a world that is antagonistic to the Gospel and to the Word of God. They have their “cloud of witnesses,” and so do the cur- rent students, continual reminders of the faithfulness of God. Some of us who are a little older are beginning to sense what the psalmist said in Psalm 37:25 — I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread. Also, Psalm 71:17-18 — O God, thou hast taught me from my youth; and hitherto have I declared thy wonderous works. Now also when I am old and gray- headed, O God, forsake me not until I have shown thy strength unto this generation, and thy power to everyone that is to come. A yearbook is a book of memories and represents the many testings and blessings that have come to each | one of us throughout the year. We tie all of those blessings of this past year with the preceding 35 years and think of it as a record of God’s faithfulness, a reminder that God will be faithful in the future. We do not know what lies in the future, but we do know that it is full of potential, particularly as we yield ourselves to Jesus Christ. é : a GRSBM, and thousands of others have taken s capacities. These graduates and alumni who n turn produces more fruit.
