President ...... .,........ S usan Anderson Vice-President . . .... Maurice Reed Secretary ..... . . . Betty Barnaby Treasurer ........................ Barbara Beelby Deep in the hearts of all of the members of the Student Council is their hope and plan for the new Memorial Campus, where the students and faculty can spend their lunch hours and those few precious minutes between classes. Because of the time and effort spent by Mr. Andrews and several other members of the faculty and student body much of the money has been raised for the campus and the lot on which we will place our dream of the future has been obtained. Many of the organizations of the school have joined in the effort to raise the needed funds. On December 6 and 7 the Student Council and the campus committee put on the Holiday Whirl, which was an evening of fun and entertainment. An evening of songs and skits was presented, and an enjoyable evening was had by all. All the returns from the cost of the tickets were turned over to the campus fund. Blueprints for the Memorial Campus were dis- played in the showcase on the second floor where all students were able to look at them. In the spring the Student Council gave their annual formal dance. The council has also been looking over a new constitution for themselves and they hope to have a new and better one laid out for next year's council.
