Jacky Walker ln the fall the Delta Sigma started things off with a bang by having a dance. The profit from the dance was given to the Memorial Campus fund. The members of Delta Sigma are also inter- ested in seeing the campus become a reality. On May 2-3 the members presented the play, Arsenic and Old Lace . The play was directed by Mr. Stanley Albers, who is the instructor of forensics and dramatics at Union High School. Janet Gildersleeve, president of the club, and Carol Marquardt played the parts of the two old ladies. Other members of the cast were: Gladys Vander Veen, Jack Baes, Burt Helder, Lenhard Forsburg, Gus Wawee, Casey Blandford, George Slykhouse,William Reamon and Jim Miller. Other members of the club acted as crew workers, and as heads of costume and make-up committees. Gordon Pace, Lorraine Anderson, Jacky Walker, Marjorie Ver Hulst, Doris Van Daalen, Roger Bul- lock, Erma Lee Perry, Betty Richards, Shirley Blake and Patricia Blake are some of the members of the club that helped to make Arsenic and Old Lace the success that it was. Several members of Delta Sigma also took part in the Christmas program with the choir to help convey the Christmas story to the members of the student body. Dr. Meyer is sponsor of Delta Sigma.
