What a turnout they had! On March 17, the Men's Union sponsored the Father-Son Banquet, which was held at Fountain Street Baptist Church. The master of ceremonies was Hugh Allen and Joe Weber gave the toasts to the fathers. A menu of Swiss steak and cherry pie was enjoyed by all, and the men's, quartet added enjoyment to the evening with several good numbers. The main speaker of the evening was Walter Weber, who is a line coach from the University of Michigan. A hearty discussion of football techniques followed Mr. Weber's speech and movies of some of Michigan's best games were shown. All this added together made an evening that will long be remembered by all who attended the banquet. In the spring the Men's Union also put on a formal dance with Ralph Weigle's Orchestra. Mr. Storr is the adviser for the Men's Union. The Men's Union is very proud and also secre- tive about those rooms of theirs down in the base- ment of the Junior College building. Please notice that both the photographer and the organi- zations editor found their way down to these secret rooms to bring you the pictures found on these pages.
