Throughout each month of the year the club has given teas, which are planned by the various groups. On December 13, the League held its Christmas Banquet at East Congregational Church. The tables were gayly decorated by the leaders and members of the twelve groups. In February the Dogpatch Party was held in the gymnasium of the Junior College building. A bridge for the girls of the school was the topic LEAGUE for the social field in March, and in May the League was host to Rudolph Ganz, the pianist, at a coffee. This spring the League put on its annual tea for all the high school senior girls who are inter- ested in Junior College. This year the League gave a Mother-Daughter Banquet in the latter part of May. On May 16, the League presented its annual spring formal. The groups of the League held their meetings on the second Tuesday of every month in the home of either the group leader or her assistant, or of one of the girls. Through her group, each girl of the League helped to raise money in sev- eral different ways. Some groups sold J.C. stickers, others gave noon dances, while still others had baked goods sales and paddle-pop sales. The groups working together with their officers, and with the advice of Miss McCabe really added a year of history to the story of the Women's League of the Grand Rapids Junior College.

The club has also had quite a few social ...M functions throughout the year. Miss Frieda Wor- delman is the head of the art department and also acts as the club's adviser.
