Dedication To the teacher who knows everything that is occurring in this complex world, to the humorous history teacher with the largest stock of stories, and to the conscientious teacher of eight years standing at Christian High, we, the graduating class of 1960, dedicate our Memoir. Mr. S. R. Hoekstra has been a clear Christian example to his many students, an example in his personal life, and in his capacity of history teacher, advisor, or tennis coach. Mr. Hoekstra is an en- thusiastic admirer of both music and art, and he has served as the sponsor of the newly formed and 4 .4 L active Art Club. The most scholastically advanced instructor in our social science department, Mr. Hoekstra is working, with our best wishes, toward obtaining his doctor's degree. In appreciation for all this, and for his pointing us beyond the narrow confines of our small lives, we inscribe to him our annual.
