Seated: Dr. Wiliam Haeck, president, Louis Van Ess, secretary: Dr. Enno Wolthuis, vice-president: Roy Iurgens, treasurer. Standing: Abe Stroo, Sidney Hoogeboom: Ray Van Kuiken, assistant secretary-treasurer: Harry Visser, George Brummel, Richard Verhey. The Board To the Graduates of 1956: From the Board, hearty and sincere congratulations upon the completion of your chosen courses of study. During your three years the physical aspects of our school have changed as greatly as during any comparable period in the 35-year history of our school. The Madison Building was acquired at a timely occasion. Tempo- rary classrooms in adjoining houses, which had long been a part of our campus, were demolished to make way for a long cherished goal--a physical education building and gymnasium now under construction. In the midst of all this change and growth there has been an important phase of your school activity which persistently strengthens itself. Our covenant God has not withheld His blessings from our school. Your Christian parents have unstintingly encouraged and faithfuly stood by you in your needs and problems. The staff at Christian High, principals and teachers, sympathetically guided you. Our Christian community continues to respond to the needs of our school with its liberal support. These favorable factors which you have enjoyed while at Christian serve as an ideal foundation in your life's plans: but they will also require a response from you. It is our sincere hope and prayer that these several influences may be strengthened and blessed by our God toward realizing your hopes and ambitions, and that through his grace you too may be a blessing to His kingdom as we hope our school has been to you. The Board Louis Van Ess, Secretary

Mr. E. R. Post The little fellow with the big job of prin- cipal at Christian is Mr. E. R. Post. He has ably guided us in everything from morning chapel talks, with his funny jokes added, to problems of the most serious of natures. His pleasing personality has al- ways spurred us on and with his leader- ship we were inspired to attain higher goals and to maintain high standards. We will always remember Mr. Post. He's getting someone's goat
