You must have been looking forward to graduation. A sense of deep satisfaction should be yours because this is the realization of one of your ambitions. We of the Board extend hearty congratulations to each member of the classes of l954. The Association has placed upon the Board the mandate to maintain Grand Rapids Christian High School based on the Word of God. Being committed to the Reformed world and life view, the educational principles of the Association must therefore be distinctly Reformed in emphasis and character. Through the administration and the teachers the Board has tried to carry out that mandate. Your teachers' devotion to duty with the sacrifice of your parents plus the loyal support of our constituency have made that possible. Distinctive education has prepared you for your future whether that be in the home, a vocation of your choice, or at other educational institutions. The debt of gratitude you owe to the school as recipients should make you its ardent supporters. Upon you rests the future growth of Christian Education. We look to you to assume your share of the responsibility in the growth and expansion of Grand Rapids Christian High School. Secretary of the Board H. L. Homan, D.D.S.

mI2. G. R. DOS11 Mr. E. R. Post has been a true friend during our stay here at Christian High. Always there as a counselor when we were in need of help and encouragement, he spurred us on to the point where we are now, that of graduating from the school which he so competently managed. We, as students, are grateful for the guidance which he gave us, and for the patience which he showed us in rather trying moments. Mr. Post has been a definite influence upon our Christian youth. 7
