Rodeo Team was re-activated for the 1977-78 school year. The team's mem- bership has risen steadily and now rests at 25 members. The Rodeo Club is a local chapter of the Lone Star High School Rodeo Association and has, as its primary objectives, the participation in and promotion of high school rodeo in Texas. Rodeo is the only original American sports and the Rodeo Team is dedicated to clean com- petition, good sportsmanship, and responsible citizenship. a. The Prairie Dog featured cur- rent news stories. such as elec- tion returns for class favorites and coverage of Thursday nights bonfire on Friday morn- ing.
