The Superlarks' season ended with a 4-5 win loss record. Steve Simonson (30 pts. ), Jeff Hall (26 pts. ), and Tim Ja- cobson (26 pts. ), were the leading scorers for the year. Greg Lamp was the Most Valuable Offensive player while Jeff Hall was the Most Valuable Defensive player. Tom Gardner was the Most Valuable Lineman and Tim Jacobson was the Most Improved player. GM had 1196 yards rushing to the op- ponents 1370 yards for the year and 858 yards passing to the opponents 364 yards. GM's Muscle Machine , Jeff Hall was the leading ball carrier with 129 carries for 523 total yards and 4 touchdowns. Tom Jahns, also a senior had 68 carries for a total of 228 yards and 3 touch- downs. He was followed by Tim Jacobson with 59 carries, 277 yards and 4 touchdowns. Scrambling quarterback Greg Lamp not only passed for a total of 801 yards and a 42% completion rate but also accumulated 56 carries. Leading receiver Kirk Christensen caught 20 big ones for a total of 350 yards and 2 touchdowns. He was followed by Steve Simonson with 12 snatches, 234 yards and 5 touchdowns. This year's 7 mighty seniors were Kirk Chris- tensen, Jeff Hall, Glen Goodsell, Tom Jahns, Jim Leichtnam, Greg Lamp and Pat Stienkamp. They join other members of the team and GM fans in thanking Head Coach Jerry Lano and Assistant Pat Foley for their efforts in an excit- ing successful season. 11

FIGHT ON! Highlighting GM's volleyball sea- son mis year was our second place finish at the Hayfield Tournaments. Lead by seniors Denise Swanson (capt.) and Diane Westfall (capt.), Kim Carter, Lisa Baldus, and Teresa Snyder, the team dug into every match they played with determina - tion, skill, and spirit. While not stacking up big num- bers in the win category, the coaches and team should be proud of a successful season and look forward to an even better season next year. Q.
