GMHS SPIRIT SPARKS HOMECOMING VICTORY King Mark Carman and Queen Renae Jech reigned over the 1975 Homecoming festivities during which the Supcrlarks sent the Lanesboro Burros to a 18-12 defeat. Coronation officially opened the celebration with Mary Fretty, Linda Radloff, Jim McKee, and Dorn Stier attending the King and Queen. The traditional pep fest and bonfire, courtesy of the Freshman Class, followed Coronation at the football field. The Class of 78 took 1st place float honors in the parade the following day. After the exciting football game Friday evening, the events came to a close with the Victory Dance, music provided by Sunn. Queen Renae Psst. . .1 think I’ve got a blowout

“WIN A DISH.. Once again Grand Meadow townspeople came out in force for the annual school carnival. John Henne- sey served as chairman for the 13th year in a row. As- sisting him were JimHopp, Peter Hovda and David Buschmann. This year’s carnival funds were divided between a weight machine for the althletic program and supplemental reading program. This year’s king and queen were Karl Jahns ana Shelly Landsverk, both seventh graders. Attending them were Kim Sny- der and Kevin Zent. 12th grade candidates, Tammic Schwemmer and Pat Steinkamp, 11th, Carol Nielson and Todd Newkirk, 10th, Tammy Nelson and Dennis Riedemann, 9th, Trudie Schwemmer and David Di- Carlo, 8th. As their pictures show a good time (for a worthy cause) was had by all.
