Henry Brooks Adams We, the Seniors of 1962, are proud to dedicate our yearbook to Mr. William Severin—-an active par- ticipant in civic and community affairs—an inspiration to seniors past, present, and future—a true credit to the teaching profession. Our high school days will best be remembered through the symbols each of us has made in our minds for those things which are most important. The idea of a cap and gown may represent the end of high school to us just as a mountain of books and papers could remind us of the beginning. And in between these dif- ficult times, each of us look for that symbol of a friend who did so much to help, in the minds of a vast number of Grand Meadow's students and graduates, Mr. Severin is that symbol of a friend. To Grand Meadow High itself, he has been a true friend. In the hope that this tribute can satisfy a debt of gratitude, we wish to offer him an expression of appreciation for his tireless efforts in our behalf. To you, Mr. Severin, we respectfully dedicate the 1962 Meadow Lark as a symbol of our thanks.
