Coach Melvin Warner of Michigan State has just stated that he believes they will again take the Rose Bowl Pennant. Shirley Bussell will lake her appearance tomorrow night at the Rochester lhyo Civic Auditorium with the famous HoQuire Skating Sisters. Us now interrupt to give a special announcement which we just received from the University of Minnesota, saying that Professor Gerald Urbach has finally accepted an invitation to give a speech at the high school auditorium here this evening. The Annual Horse Show will be held at Pasadena, California, this year in honor of Priscilla Wright, who has taken the highest awards in horssmanship for the past four years. Paul Durhnan, President of the F. B. I., has awarded Fred Richardson, Grand Meadow No. 1 cop, a medal for being the best cop during the year of 1964. The forner Joyce Milner is just returning from her third honeymoon in Bursuda. At the airport taking her picture is the renowned photographer Dale Oelke and his beautiful model, Shirley Quirin. Pat Glynn and his well-known band is now touring the U. S. Accompanying hin on his trip is his favorite singing star Clayton Kjeer, with Blaine Joyce as his accompanist. LaVonne Evenson has just bought out Berg's Drug Store and is planning to runodel with the aid of Jean Powers, whoa: you no doubt have heard is a reliable interior decorator.

Class Histor In the year of our Lord, one thousand nine hundred and forty two, fifteen little tykes were led to their first hour of knowledge Mrs Kelley helped us through our first trying hour Those who remembered this first hour and who now have completed the twelfth hour are Shirley Bussell Paul D1n'hman, Darwyn Durhman, Pat Glynn, Joyce Milner, Shirley Quirin, Joan Ringen, David Stier, and Priscilla Wright The great hand led us slowly around the cycle until the clock struck two Here Mrs Stayle informed us of our loss Merlin Simonson joined us here to finish with us When the hands reached three, Miss jedson popped out to greet us and informed us of two new timers They were George Buringa and Gloria Skogstad Miss Dugan helped us through the fourth number after the loss of several lore minutes As the tinekeeper banged out five gongs we reached our fifth stop, where Melvin Warner joined Miss Varst, our new leader, greeted us at this stop At the sixth stop we found ourselves half way around the clock At this stop Robert Jech and Lavonne Evenson joined our class to finish with us Miss Varst was again with us at this stop We now stopped just in the nick of time, for someone shouted, 'Seven o'clock We turned around and Mr Taylor stood looking over us, stern, yet very patient, to watch until we started 088111 As the hands closed over eight, we felt quite grown up Clayton Kjeer and Irene McCullough entered our class On the last day of the eighth hour Mr Stromberg gave us the signal which With a few seconds to spare we got off bewildered, yet happy, in our first year of high school At nine o'clock we were ushered into a large room where many other students sat We noticed our clock was running slow, so we added a few minutes and our time became more regular The minutes that we picked up and that we still have with us are Shirley Drake, Elaine Joyce, Marlin Mayer, Marilyn Nelson, Dale Oelke, Fred Richardson, and Gerald Urbach Mr Bjmrquist stopped the clock long enough for us to look around This was our tenth numeral We picked up Darlene Berning at this stop We found the time piece needed winding as it struck eleven The time showed that we again picked up two minutes, Esther Nielsen and Veronica Hickey Mr Prindle helped us to present our class play, 'What a Life Miss Olson assisted us in giving om' predecessors a very successful prom 'Last stop this round, warned Mr Holland, as he started us off on our last round We lost one minute in our last hour of grief We will no doubt ell scatter now that our journey of twelve hours is finished, but we hope we haven't been clock watchers and that we will realise that it is 'Not the End but the Beginning' in the next cycles that we have to face in the coming years PROPHEY foontinued fron last page, Irene McCullough, the 1958 Phi Beta Kappa of Luther College, is to receive the Nobel prize in Mathematics Esther Nielsen will appear with the Metropolitan on July Fourth in the opera Carmen George Buringa has just published his latest book entitled 'How to Improve Farming Methods Dr Robert Jech has just finished the nost delicate brain operation ever to be performed Joan Ringen is the first-p'ade teacher at Grand Meadow Marilyn Nelson has just bought the largest ranch in Colorado Darlene Berning has decided not to go into a career, but has settled down to a happy hone life Now we will turn to Rochester, where we find Merlin Simonson, manager of Libby's, has reported that the pea crop has been the best in years, Shirley Drake, who has been working as a clerk in Dayton's, has been promoted to the position of buyer, the Arthur Murray Dance Studio has just hired s new dancing teacher, Gloria Skogstad, the great chenist Dave Stier has just become head of the Mayo Clinic Chemistry Lab, with Veronica Hickey as his private secretary, and Marlin Mayer's Dairy Farm is helping to supply Rochester lhlry with Grade A milk This is Station GMHS signing off until 1974 when we will again bring you up to date on the latest news I D ual O permitted us to proceed to the ninth hour.
