Coach Melvin Warner of Michigan State has just stated that he believes they will again take the Rose Bowl Pennant. Shirley Bussell will lake her appearance tomorrow night at the Rochester lhyo Civic Auditorium with the famous HoQuire Skating Sisters. Us now interrupt to give a special announcement which we just received from the University of Minnesota, saying that Professor Gerald Urbach has finally accepted an invitation to give a speech at the high school auditorium here this evening. The Annual Horse Show will be held at Pasadena, California, this year in honor of Priscilla Wright, who has taken the highest awards in horssmanship for the past four years. Paul Durhnan, President of the F. B. I., has awarded Fred Richardson, Grand Meadow No. 1 cop, a medal for being the best cop during the year of 1964. The major objective of the department is to aid young men interested in farming to make a start and an advance toward establishment in the business of farming. The Ag Department also provides educational programs for the established farmers living in the school area. On October 21 they played 'The Victory Perch' at the Minnesota-Pittsburg game and were televised during the half. They placed third in the Winona State Teachers College Homecoming Parade. The LeRoy-Grand Meadow game was very exciting, as the Larks were really out to win, and did so with a score of 26-6. The dance was held following the game in the gym, the Esquires from Rochester pro- viding the music . On the following page are pictured floats shown in the Homecoming Parade.
