Luella Tooley......................................................Marilyn Hull The plot of Don't Rush Me , introduces the Johnson family, a typical, small town group, who becomes hopelessly entangled in an oil boom through the help of a swave oil promoter. Uncle Chris, the brother of Mrs. Johnson, can tolerate the family's attitude just so long and then he gives them what he calls a mental spanking. Don't Rush Me might be called a serio-comedy for it has its laughs and it has its sadnesses. The play was held November 29, 1949, at the Grand eadow Opera House. It was directed by Mr. White. One day in October, just before school started for the afternoon, Mr. Johnson said, All juniors report to the Home Ec. room. We were all pretty excited, because we wanted to know what it was all about. When we finally arrived there, who do you suppose was there. The man to show us our class rings. There was sure a lot ofbuzzin going on then. The big joke was, after looking at about 25 rings, we all decided on the first ring we looked at. For homecoming we decorated a float for the parade. Our class won the slogan contest. The queen attendant for our class was Marilyn Hull.
