Ieadow She teaches English and first and second year Home Economics Miss Robson sponsors the Vi ht Grade and has a hobby of sewing Mr Charles Nc Queary graduated from Hannloal High School, Hannibal, Missouri He received his B A degree at westwinister College, Fulton, Missouri He was drafted into the army and fought in the cavalry as a Staff Sergeant After returning from the army he did graduate work at Parson's College, Fairfield, Iowa This is his third year at Grand Veadow You will find him teaching economics and world history He coaches both girls' and boys' basketball, baseball His hobby is sports After previously spending nls xlrst two years of high school at Congo Belge, Africa Mr Thomas Stixrud graduated from Presbyterian Junior College at Maxton He spent four years at Westminister College in Fulton, Missouri Mr Stixrud has taught at Delmar and Deep River, Iowa This is his second year at Grand Meadow He teaches mathematics, shop and American history His hobby is woodworking FAQUH Miss Florence Timmins received her education from Kingsley High School, Morningside, Buena Vista and Westmar Colleges Miss Timmins taught in Plymouth and Woodbury county She teaches Kindergarten and First grades at Grand Meadow This is her third year at Grand Meadow Her hobby is teaching school Mrs Brower graduated from Pierson High School and attended Morningside College Before coming to Grand Meadow to teach second and th rd grades, she taught three years in the rural schools in Grundy county This is her second year at Grand Meadow Her hobby is sewing Miss Marilyn Skaar graduated from Ruthven High School, but makes her home at Storm Lake Buena Vista College is where she received her training Liss Skaar Miss Mavis Steinbeck received her education from Alta High School and Buena Vista College Before com ing to Grand Meadow to teach the sixth and seventh grades she taught three years at Brooke She says her hobby is cooking Mr Fred Glassburner was a high school graduate from Abraham Lincoln at Council Bluffs He received his B S degree in mathematics at Iowa State College and his M A degree in education at Iowa University His graduate work in Psychology was done at Purdue University and graduate work in music was accomplished at Drake University and Drury college at Springfield, Missouri He has taught mathematics at Iowa State College and has taught music at Willard, Missouri and Wilton Junction Iowa For the past two years he has been teaching muslc at Vasnta and Grand Meadow He teaches band, chorus, sextet and grade music teaches the fourth and fifth grades. The second semester they lost Judy Pinkerton sho moved to Quimby and Bruce Grant who moved to Missouri.
