FOREWORD The publication of this yearbook has been a challenge to all of us. Now that we present this edition of the Hornet, we are proud of what this work has meant to us. It has required the co-operation of our sponsor, students, staff, and those who have contributed their support through ad- vertisements. We wish to thank you who have helped us. The challenges of higher learning, adventure, and new worlds to conquer lie immediately before the members of the Senior Class. PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE The function of a school is to provide a program of education that will developeineach individual the knowledge, interests, ideals, hab- its, and powers that will help him find his place in the everchanging society in which we live and use that place to improve himself and his fellowman. I wish to express my thanks to the entire staff, student body, and to the citizens of the community who have worked so diligently to make this a successful school year.
