That wasn't the only tradition broken. The traditions we're talking about, are Spirit Week, pep assemblies class competitions and airbands that rocked GJHS with enough spirit to lost more than a few Homecomings. Everyone dressed up for Tourist Day. Toga Day, Punk Day. Dress-Up Day. Gangster Day. and Orange and Black Day. The Homecoming dance was held Sept. 24. The 1983 Royalty was as follows: Jill Jefferson, queen. Patricia Moran, senior attendent; Laura Bush, junior attendent. and Darci Jensen, sophomore attendent.
