check out these books anyway? Shove. Cram, Run to class. Journalism, my favorite class. Typewriters banging, phones ringing and editors screaming. An ad staffer is on strike. I think I'll offer him a job on the yearbook. A yearly salary, two weeks paid vacation and a neon pink Cadillac, (with Josten's printed on the side, of course). How could anyone refuse? Have any of you ever watched Dave Nissen and Teddy Parker cut out little paper space dogs and then race them on a masking tape track? That's SQUARE! PING-PING-PING It's Movie Day in here The lights go off and already the fun begins. Vawnn ... Hey what's everyone looking at? I must have dozed oft. Why are they laughing? What's that on my face? Oh, great, I fell asleep on my spiral again! I wonder how long it takes for skins elasticity to regain normality? Let's see, TO more minutes left. I wonder if my teacher gets a rash from all the polyester she wears? Five minutes left ... my nails look so gross. Who ever thought passionate purple sunset could look like barf when it dried, Yuck-ola. A little paper football comes whizzing past my head and lands on the teacher's desk ... What?! It wasn't ME: Golly Gee Whiz. I was just sitting here behind my 'Star Wars' notebook ... It couldn't have been me! ... Okay, fine if that's the way you're going to be. I don't need this ... no, wait! I'm sorry. If I get sent to the office one more time this week the “Big Guys are going to call my parents. Well that would be just awful. My parents think I'm a well-adjusted United States Citizen when actually, I'm just a SENIOR!! PING-PING-PING
