‘Come Sail Away’ Girls league performs many outstanding activities throughout the year. Among these activities is Girls Week. Girls Week has been a tradition since 1955. Each day of the week a different theme was carried out, with the students dressing appropriately. The tradition is still strong in 1979. Girls Week ends with the annual Cotton Ball Dance, honoring any boy who is a participant of any extracurriculr activity. The dance was held on March 17, 1979. Sailor Day: Kellie Clark and Betka Alexander were part of the action. Dress-Up Day: Barbara Tlmpte and Lynn Miller participated In the final activity. Dress-Down Day: Liu Anderson and Maureen Rlcclllo wearing their favorite grub-bies.
