Cottonball Ends Girls’ Week March 15 marks the beginning of the traditional Girls' Week, which is sponsored each year by Girls League. The week's events include; Monday--a kick-off assembly, along with a slave auction. Tuesday— Cowboy Day, students will be costumed in their old west outfits. Wednesday— Nostalgia Day—DA's and leather jackets will be the familiar attire. Thursday— Clash Day, anything goes. Friday—Dress-up day, dress will be formal. The annual mother-daughter breakfast will also be held on Friday. Tying the week together will be the girl-ask-boy Cottonball Dance. Chuck Poland, Cottonball King. 20 School Life

Mr. And Ms. Merry Christmas Reigning over the Christmas Dance are Eric Klein and Susan Martin. Student Council sponsored the holiday dance. Rococo, a jazz band from Mesa College provided the music. Michael Foster and Kathy Wilds are crown bearers. Susan recieved a necklace and Eric recieved a key chain.
