r l the o b With a staff of 27, The Orange and Black went to press 17 issues. The newspaper not only dealt with straight news stories but with many other stories, such as, features, editorials on subjects affecting the students, several picture pages that dealt with life at GJHS, and advertising. Larry Wenger, Calvin Cochran, Vicki Hamilton, and Barbara Stroh, photographers, did the picture work. The O B won awards from Columbia Press Association, National School Press Association, and Colorado Press Association. Making sure everything ran smoothly was Gary Cordray, sponsor. A.
