Bringing peoples of differ- ent nationalities closer together demands a better knowledge of foreign tongues. At GIHS a student may elect one of three lang- uages: Latin, Spanish, or German. Three year courses in each of the languages offer the student a substantial background for advanced college study. Showing some of her Mexican blankets is Miss Hazel Hanna, teacher of Spanish. Third year Spanish is a new addition to the GIHS curriculum this year. nw- Raising house plants and gardening are some of the hobbies of Mrs. Dorcas Keig. Mrs. Keig teaches Review English and Latin.
