Pigskin Warriors The Purple and Gold banner was carried through a victorious season which was climaxed by a lour-day trip to Scotts- bluff to represent the Eastern division of the Big Ten conference against the Bearcats, winner ol the Vvestern division. Opening their schedule with a 26 to 6 triumph over the Norlollc Panthers at Ryder lield, the lslanders showed a squad com- posed of teamworlc, spirit, and a combina- tion oi power and speed. The llollowing weelt end, Coach Cuivenis boys travelled to Hastings to visit the highly touted Tigers.
