A. cabinet entertained the Y. M C. A. cabinet. The trophies of the evening were hand made valen- tines, some of which were very beautiful, and We Won't mention the others. Place cards bore appropriate verses, from which the one for Whom the card was meant, discovered his characteristics. After a brief period of chaos, the guests departed suddenly and quietly. Cupid Party. At the hour of eight, on the evening of the 14th of February, there was assembled at the home of Professor Starr a brilliant company of trig sharks. The house was attractively decorated, and the entertainment was especially adapted for this occasion. Freshmen Party October 31. On Halloween those Freshmen who didn't have dates some place else, decided to rid themselves of their surplus energy in an entirely original way, by sneaking off to some unknown spot and having the time of their lives . Having bribed Professor and Mrs. Morrow to chaperone them, they proceeded to the cottonwood grove east of the Home, where they fed them- selves on bread and oleomargerine with ham and eggs a few hours later as desert. At 10 o'clock sharp they returned to the dormitories to be greeted by the aromatice fumes of H2S. Football Team Entertained by Athenians. On November 25th the Athenians entertained the football team. The feature of the evening was a photoscope lecture on the deeds of the team and other Grand Island Collegers. We saw two-year-old Gravy, Bud's other girl, Hahn with his Sunday smile, Darling Debs , Holtz with his mustache, and innumerable other have beens . After the reminiscent scene a two-course lunch was served in the dining-room of Hibb's Hall. Several attempts at toasts were made, but no one seemed inspired to say anything, and Tilley and Taylor almost arose to the occasion, but stage fright Cor somethingj overcame them. January 29th, Weymouth had all the chicken he could eat. Why? Be- cause the girls had a box supper, and you may be sure there was nothing lacking in those boxes. The entertainment of the evening Was an old fash- ioned spelldown, which resulted in the humiliation of several supposedly brilliant orthographists. The Glee Club sang several of their concert num- bers, after which Professor Noel auctioned the boxes. Juniors Entertain Seniors.
