Though the constant threat of trial by the dreaded Inquisition hangs gloomily over Cer- vantes' head, an even more immediate danger lies in sight: his fellow prisoners demand pos- session of his trunkiul of worldly belongings as an admission fee of sorts. To divert their purpose, he invites them to join him in acting out a charadc, and thus the central tale begins. Mr. Query directed the play with Mr. Flahive in charge of the orchestra. l. Boyer vs-3 Yearbook Staff 168 Bonnie Ulmer, Karla Scheifle, Liu Estlund, Kris Hood, Bob Walma. FRONT: Chris Steinbach. This year was an especially difficult year, since the 1976-77 yearbook was in the hands of basically inexperienced people. However, the important thing to remember is that, overall, we triumphed! A VICTORY! We didn't lct anything get in the way even when destniction was near at hand, I would like to thank this year's yearbook staff for keeping their nose to the proverbial grindstone - we all worked especially hard, because deadlines seemed to creep up about two weeks early. I would like to give extra special thanks to Mr. Boyer, who put up with a lot, but lowered the boom when necessary, Mike Ripple, who did all of the ink drawings, including the one Mike Panzegtau, Lori Ckrlson, Sue Avery, Alison Frickman, Tracy Boss. which was made into the cover, and Steve Sla- ius, who did a tremendous amount of work on the photography and was always where we needed him. This year, we decided that the best thing to do was to postpone the arrival of the 197677 yearbook, so as to improve the quality over what it would have been, had we tried to meet the spring deadlines. It worked! Best wishes for thc future, julie Mastcnbrook Editor-in-Chief 169 - m N x , . I . . . 1 , . n I I - , B 5 K X x 'K K , , A - ' J . - . 7 . , x X , f I X Y Y-n:.
